          Disability Insurance Issues – Legal        www.groups.yahoo.com   (disinissues-l)

The emphasis of this group is invisible illnesses (i.e., chemical sensitivity, chronic fatigue, etc.) and the technical and legal issues around the disability claims process, as opposed to medical questions.

The group name is shortened to:   Disinissues-L

            Attorney Referrals:

National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives

This organization will give you the name of an attorney near you for you to call.  You may request another name if the first attorney is not compatible with your situation.  There is no charge for this service.  Most attorneys work on a contingency basis and there is no fee if you lose, but there may be charges for expenses incurred.

Local support groups may be able to refer you to an attorney experienced with MCS or related conditions.
